Product Evolution

For the seventh successive season ProZone remains the leading Match Analysis provider throughout the Premier League and Championship. We are delighted to announce that we are already working alongside 11 clubs in the Premier League, 9 in the Championship and 3 in the Scottish Leagues this Season and wish all of our clubs the very best for the foreseeable future.

ProZone has played a significant role in the evolution of match analysis and football’s integration with technology and modern coaching methods. Over the last decade Match Analysis has become an integral component of how coaching teams reflect, analyse and provide feedback to players with the main focus on improving performance and winning more games.

At ProZone we have always prioritised the process of customer feedback and our product development is an example of how we strive to meet the evolving needs of coaches, managers and players. Interactivity remains our key focus for product development and the essence in which we build new features and functionality is so that each customer can access information quickly and effectively. The majority of new features are based around aiding coach and player involvement whilst also improving more functional aspects of report generation and ease of use. In next month’s Newsletter we shall be focusing on ProZone’s new trend application – Pz Trend.

Over the last 12 months, we have introduced over 80 significant features into our core product range - a selection of these are outlined in this newsletter.

NEW PRODUCT FEATURES:
Sony Video Editing Tools:
All ProZone3 customers now have the ability to export match clippings to Sony Vegas for simple production of commercial DVD’s (e.g. goals, set-piece, motivational and player DVDs)
Automatic Report Generator:
Allowing teams to build bespoke player and team reports quickly, saving the analyst valuable time during the season.

Interactive Teamsheet:
Providing instant statistical match breakdown with export functionality and easy ‘single-click’ navigation to video/animation /analysis, meaning a more user-friendly interface and quicker access to data
Tailored video analysis:
Incorporate multiple camera angles from the game into your feedback session; switch to behind the goal player-cam, back-four-cam or wide angle (all HD footage) at the touch of a button.

Pitch Zoom Function:
Ability to zoom in on the penalty area whilst in 2D animation – great for set-plays analysis!
Rotational Pitch Function:
Research shows that players see the game ‘vertically’, so we’ve given user the ability to rotate the pitch to enhance feedback sessions.

Time Bar and Marker System:
Time bar drag or click option to navigate through the Animation and Video swiftly and display critical incidents (shots, goals, set-pieces) to plot a pattern of the game.

Ball In Play Viewing:
View the Video/Animation only when the ball is in play (active). Sounds simple, but will save you valuable time during the week (ProZone data tells us that, on average, the ball is out of play between 35-55% in elite football matches).
